Seedlings Studio is a small web development company located in the Vancouver area, BC, Canada, specializing in designing and developing websites including content management systems, e-commerce, and weblogs.
I'm Joann, a consultant, web developer and designer with 10 years of technology experience ranging from technical support to project planning and implementations to technical documentation. Creating websites that connect you with your community, peers, and clients is what keeps me energized.
Methodology
I believe in clean, light, and fresh web layouts. Keeping your message simple and the site simple to use, will speak volumes to your audience.
My work conforms to the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) mandated Web Standards of valid XHTML and CSS. This will give you a website that is accessible, usable, and ready for mobile devices. Using XML based XHTML your website will be ready for any technology changes.
Your message to your audience is of top priority. I can integrate your website with a content management system so you can easily and quickly add news and events. You won't be dependent on a 'web person' to add html code whenever you need to update your content.
Open communication is of utmost importance so you stay on time and on budget. With that in mind, I will work in partnership with you to include a project plan and scope and we will communicate often to keep each other up to date.
